My second oldest character, is M'aar'k, my Jedi Knight. (The doubled letters and apostrophes should be seen as a concession to get the game to accept the name, not actually his name. In "real life" his name would be just Mark, or maybe Maark at most, and I'll refer to him as such from this point forward.
Now, a few quick assumptions about Jedi in both SWTOR and Space Opera X. In SWTOR, I dislike using Jedi robes, and like to assume that my Jedi dress in normal clothes like normal people for the most part. In fact, a big chunk of my playthrough, at least in the latter half of the game, was Mark wearing a very iconic smuggler look that I got as a world drop. But to me, it makes more sense that that's how he'd actually dress.
In Space Opera X, I don't really have analogs to Jedi per se. I mean, I do have psionic warriors who can manifest something that's not terribly unlike a lightsaber (although without needing to carry around a hilt on their belt like Jedi do), and they do have modest magical powers, but they are more like Jedi from the OT than from the Clone Wars era; i.e., they're not out and out superheroes with comic-book like superpowers. On top of that, there's nothing like a Jedi Order; no monastic tradition with a privileged place in the social and political order of the galaxy. "Jedi" in Space Opera X are more like every other character, at least in any sort of "protagonist" nation, who just happen to have some unusual yet modest magical powers, which in no way overshadow the heroic swashbuckling abilities of other people who don't have them.
That said, I like my original Jedi as a character well enough, even if he fits the Star Wars milieu much better than he does the Space Opera X milieu. Only a couple of his outfits have any real old school cred, though—I've largely experimented with creating all kinds of weird looks for him during his run, many of which don't exist any more. He also wore a progression of synthweaving crafted suits as he was high enough level to wear them, although those have all gone by the wayside over time as well. This is a snapshot in time; other than those few older ones that I haven't managed to convince myself to get rid of, many of these could be radically different in six months.

My first attempt at an alternative to the Jedi robes. I like the coloration, and the fact that these have just a little bit of a "dressier" look to them. Not that the other characters don't end up hobnobbing with Senators and Alderaanian royalty just as much as the Jedi does, but for most other characters, the fact that they look like ruffians is specifically referred to a fair bit. The Jedi are more accepted in the upper classes. I like the idea of these armguards for psionic sword people in Space Opera X too; they kind of take the place of shields. Even if they look more like the 70s Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show in some regards. |

Another specifically formal look, that I created for my time on Alderaan, and then liked it well enough to keep it, although I rarely dust it off and wear it any more. |
An outfit that I created specifically to look more like a fringer, and which I now consider iconic for when I'm doing the bounty hunter event with this character. |
I picked up this light-side body armor when I qualified, and then didn't end up liking it as much as I thought that I would. This is one that I can't seem to ever getting around to replacing, for some reason. |
A combination of Ossus and Makeb armors, although when I was playing early on, helmets that looked like this Ossus helmet would occasionally drop as world drops at a certain level, and I used to have some lookalike versions of it. |
My most iconic look for this character specifically, which is, of course, a more iconic smuggler look (albeit with weird big bulky gauntlets that I always liked more than I probably should.) I've got some more images of it below. Again; I like the idea that he dressed like a normal person would while running around the galaxy. There's no good reason for him to wear some kind of drab, homespun cloak. That was something that Ben Kenobi wore because he was on Tatooine, and that's how people dressed there. If you notice, Uncle Owen is dressed the same way. Lucas later deciding that that was a signature Jedi look for the prequels was one of his dumber—albeit luckily minor—decisions. |
Another swashbuckler look. I have a very similar look on my old smuggler, actually. |
I created this look shortly after I got some of the elements for it. I no longer like them as much as I did when I got them, but I still wear this from time to time, or make minor modifications to it, or whatever. |
Because the Jedi Knight character, especially in the Knights of the Eternal Throne and Fallen Empire expansions is specifically a military commander, I whipped up this variation on a Makeb mercenary, an Obiwan Kenobi outfit, and a dye module, and liked it well enough as a simple yet effective look. It's become one of my defaults for the character when I still use him. |
This was an outfit that was always meant to be an experiment with some "outlander" type stuff, so he looks as much like a Mad Max character as a Star Wars one. I quite like how it turned out, though. Although I don't really use this outfit for Mark, I might recreate it, or at least a close variation on it, for someone else. |

And the close-ups of the look that ended up being the most iconic for this character specifically, although its otherwise very much an iconic smuggler look in the game in general. This jacket used to be a world drop, and I got it without doing anything in particular other than playing. It isn't anymore, although it's not hard to get; you can buy it on the fleet. It costs a buttload of tech fragments, but it's still not terribly difficult to get unless you want all of the other pieces that belong with it too. That said, it's also available under different names and in a different color in various places throughout the game, including as a crafted suit (although I may have bought the schematic on the GTN; can't remember now.) |
